The Technical plumbing studies course is designed for learners who have knowledge & understanding of basic plumbing principles. This will lead to City and Guilds 6129 Qualification (Once we are approved)

Health & Safety
Common Plumbing Principles
Common Plumbing Processes
Cold water Systems
Hot water Systems

Assessment will occur throughout the course. It will consist of 11 multiple-choice examinations relating to each of the elements above, plus an externally set and marked end test. There will also be a series of timed practical assessments occurring throughout the course.
The dates and times of assessments will be available at the start of the course; however, these can be changed to meet your individual ability. It is our aim to help you succeed, so students are fully supported by a Lecturer / Assessor throughout the process of assessment. If however a student is unsuccessful in any assessment, they will have the opportunity to re-sit any failed units.
