Please note that due to changes in the paperwork some assessments are now slightly longer than they were previously.  The price has not been affected and remains the same.

Our OFTEC training courses are aimed at technicians who are involved in the commissioning and servicing of oil burning appliances.

The course elements are provided by OFTEC and are designed for candidates to demonstrate their competence prior to registration with OFTEC and also for self certification of work under the building regulations.

We offer a full training and assessment course incorporating all three units, as well as individual unit training and assessment. Training and/or assessments for all units can be taken separately as required.

The OFT50 course is aimed at new entrants and incorporates approximately three and a half days of training before moving on to the assessments. The assessments taken are the 101/105E & 600A. The training does not assume much prior knowledge other than a basic knowledge of plumbing.

The Combined 101/105E & 600A course has approximately one and a half days training before moving on to the assessments. This course does assume a fair amount of prior knowledge and is aimed at candidates who have had some experience with either oil or gas appliances.
