ACS Re Assessment Courses

ACS qualifications must be re-taken every five years. Depending on what qualifications you hold, you may be better taking a discounted “bundle”. These “bundles” combine the CCN1 and between four and six of the appliance re assessments into one more cost effective solution.

The refresher training is an optional course run over one extra day. This brings engineers up to date on everything that has changed within the last five years on the core safety side. This extra course can be run the day before any reassessments or at different times if engineers don’t want to have too much time away from work.

For reassessment purposes, presentation of the previous certificates from 5 years ago will be needed – registration card is not sufficient.

You may also want to consider taking the CPA1 Combustion Performance Analysis course. The Gas Safe Register expect you to hold this if you carry out CO/CO2 ratios on any appliances you work on. This can be done alongside any other gas courses you may be taking at the time.

Topics Covered Are As For Individual Courses;

  • CCN1 – Core Domestic Gas Safety
